What was there...

... Before the Beginning?

Have you ever thought about this verse from the Bible?

For God so loved the world. Well this seems simple enough: God loved the world.

That He gave His only begotten son. His only special son.

That whosoever. Anyone

Believeth in Him should not perish. If we truly believe on Jesus, we will never perish/die spiritually.

But have everlasting life. Life that lasts forever.

Isn't it wonderful when we can see a verse in the Bible and hear that God loved us. He loved the world that was sinful and the sinful people in it. Have you realised that God still loves this world that is still sinful and the people in it who are still sinful?

Many people will be hoping for a victory at a football match. Thousands and thousands attending to see 22 men kick a ball around a field. Television channnels fighting over who gets the coverage because they all want to be part of it they all want to be in on the action.

But when it comes to God people do not care. People don't want God, people don't need God. We have computers we can shop online, we don't have to leave the house. We can even bank online. No thought of God until something goes wrong. When we need God then we might pray, then we might go to church, then we might let him in our thoughts for a while. When the troubles of September 11th came people wre crying to God. People were saying how can God allow this to happen? How can God just do nothing?

But God did do something! He sent His only son, His precious son. The Lord Jesus, and He died for we sinners!! He was and is the only one who can claim, and rightly so, to being perfect because He was and He is.

God is the Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the end. I hope these brief thoughts will make you think. God is holy. God gave us everything yet all people want is more, more, more. Give, give, give. I deserve this and this and this. I am not like these people the drunks and the druggies. I'm not a bad sinner. Well the simple answer is found in the Bible: God's word:

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3 v.23

We have all sinned and we have all fallen short. If we are doing an exam and the pass mark is 50. One person might get 49 and another might get 10. The person who got 49 could say I'm better than you because I got higher, but in actual fact this means nothing because they have both failed, they have fallen short of the target, and can never recah that target. No matter how good we are or think we are, we are all sinners and God sent His only son to die for us because He loved us.

And it is true still today, He still loves us and JESUS STILL SAVES!!!!

So what does this have to do with before the beginning? It has to do with the fact that God planned it all before the beginning, before He created the world, and before man had even fallen from the state of perfection! He knew what would happen, and He had already planned a way of forgiveness for us.
